Private Pilot
The Private Pilot rating allows you to fly anywhere you desire day or night in good weather. You may take you family and friends with you. In many cases you can use this rating in the furtherance of you work. The following is a breakdown of he minimum fight time and related requirements as well as estimates. The actual time and costs will vary do to many variables. Please come and talk to one of our instructors for more details.
Federal Aviation Administration - FAA minimum requirements.
40 hours of total flight time.
20 hours of flight with flight with an instructor - Dual Flight Time.
10 hours of Solo flight time.
Written knowledge test.
Practical Flight Test.
3rd Class FAA Medical.
Be 17 years of age.
Be able to read, write, speak and understand the english language.
