Every year more then 100,000 men and women in the United States and around the
world take to the skies to learn to fly. Typically, the reason given for
learning is , "because it is fun!". Flying is both fun and efficient. Those
trips that used to take all day by car can be made in half the time or less when
you fly.
Flying your own aircraft increases the number of destinations you can reach directly by air. In the U.S. alone, about 800 airports are served by commercial airlines, but more then 5,300 airports are open to general aviation pilots. You can easily take a quick day trip to Monterey or Santa Barbara. After obtaining your license, rent one of our professionally maintained airplanes to fly yourself, friends and family to your destination.
Kings Aviation Center maintains a staff of FAA Certified Professional Instructors. Our instructors will take you through an organized course of study and flight experience to prepare you for your certification check-ride.

Testing
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) requires a written test as part of the certification process for certain ratings. Kings Aviation Center, through LaserGrade Computer Testing, Inc., provides computer-based testing locally as a convenience to its customers and students.
If you are a Kings Aviation Center student you can normally sign up the same day that you are ready for the examination. Just call or stop by the office to schedule an appointment during our regular business hours.
If you are an outside student, you can either call Kings Aviation Center to make an appointment or go throught LaserGrade (1-800-211-2754 in USA) to schedule your test at Kings Aviation Center. If you schedule through LaserGrade, you can complete your paperwork and pay in advance.
